The Amish Cheese House has a sandwich shop at is located at 110 S Chouteau/Highway 69. The family style restaurant is The Dutch Pantry located on Main Street just across the street from the cheese house to the north. Enjoy!

Love the table! I just got vintage/retro red wooden chairs that would complete that set. Found them at an antique booth on the 4th of July, $30 for the pair (down frm $35) I have a vintage child’s card table. It needs to have the top recovered and then glued back on the frame, but for now it has a doll-quilt as a table cloth.

I also found a vintage red metal ironing board and a small wash board. I need to find the toy iron and wash tub.

And finally, I have a doll bed very similar to your cradle. )

Isn’t it fun to create for the grandbabies?

Yes, I think it is important to have fun while eating. I think it develops a healthy food concept in children. Whole wheat and organic are very good, also. A good healthy mix of fun and food! Thanks for commenting, please come back for a visit!

I found your blog from corn casserole but decided to check it out further. I love the pics of the blue bird babies. Thanks for that.
Also, these pigs in blankets and pizza’s brought back a flood of childhood memories. I mostly do whole wheat and organic but I really believe the most important thing is to have fun while you eat.

Thanks for your ideas. Just wanted to add that earlier this year I installed one of the small plastic ponds (I think 55 gallon?) and surrounded it with flat sandstone rocks. The toads have found nirvana, and I am thoroughly enjoying having them by my back door. Best thing I’ve done in the garden. Next year, I want a lotus pond. I’m encouraging everyone to go to The Real McKoi on Bryant, north of Hefner in OKC and check out their ponds and gardens, plus the owners are the nicest about sharing all they know.

Or, start taking water in the car, in travel mugs.
Stop drinking pop in plastic bottles and buy the kind in glass bottles. Healthier too.

Same with milk jugs, there are a few dairies using returnable glass bottles.
